I know this isn't the area for movie's but I wanted to talk more about the time this film took place.

I just had a funny thought, you know how the herb was like all swag back then? I was thinking, what would it really be like if everyone who smoked, smoked stress. It might cause some of the effects that they talk about. i don't know about violence but headaches for sure. Again, this was partly during prohibition so they were also drinking crappy alcohol. Also into the mix was pesticides used on the crops, their were a few back then that are considered lethal today. . .

I'm just glad the film wasn't blaming a race for it. But come on, seriously who hasn't hidden in the closet and smoked like a fiend. . .lol

You wanna hear something funny?

In the extras on the DVD of that movie, there's this old guy that promotes weed named Grandpa Ganja. One day I was at work, and this old guy comes to my register. He's wearing a shirt that says Grandpa's Marijuana Handbook and there's a picture of him next to a huge weed plant.

Evidently, I ask him if he'sthe guy from Reefer Madness, and sure enough, he is! I've seen him about 5 times, asking him to hang out and smoke everytime but he's too busy writing books and shit.

Anyway, he gave me two of his books; Grandpa's Marijuana Handbook and Guerilla Warfare for Teachers.

The books are funny and entertaining to say the least.
