okay next step, the little white pointy thing is the root tip, you are going to plant the seed about 1/3 " deep with that tip pointing DOWN and cover it very lightly with fine soil and keep it moist but not soaked, warm but not hot, until the cotyledons emerge in a couple days.
dont use any prefertilized soil. the one that says seed starter is okay but you will still want to flush it first by running a bunch of water through it.

New to everything Hey, i'm new to growing i mean fo real. i just want some advise and everything. i am trying to start some seeds that i got from a friend he only gave me 2 (that cheep bastard) so i put them on a plate with paper towel and wet it with miracle grow water. i did that yesterday and i am wondering if they will sprout???? i have no idea, tha seeds looked a little dark and everything but i have no idea if they will sprout. any advise/??????
