Hearing a lot of discomfort in people about Gordon Brown on the radio. Whilst half the country is under water, he and Blair are poncing around London in their second coming, resurrecting old promises. Gordon is going to makes changes! It's the start of a new era again, he is going to do it right this time.

Not that it'll make any bloody difference I suppose, but I think in the name of democracy he should call an election immediately and prove to us that he has our support, instead of just fucking assuming it by default. If there is no leader to challenge him, the country should decide if he alone is good enough.

Why is he so popular? Is he really so popular? You just need a few people going around saying, oh yeah but I like Gordon Brown, its just that nasty Tony Blair I don't like, and before you know it everyone has resigned themselves to the fact he is going to be the next leader.

I once questioned someone on that, what is it about Gordon Brown you like? I dunno, I just like him, was the answer. Nobody fucking knows, he is just a nice man, not too cocky like Tony Blair.

Aside from pishing our money away on shite, he is credited with the longest unhidered economic growth since, I can't remember, predating the tories or something. BUT, is it perhaps not just the case that the man simply inheritted the right economic starting point, what with the IT bubble and all that the economy was probably going to do alright anyway?

And if the economy is in such great shape, where's my frigging job then eh?

Under Gordon Brown the amount of tax we all pay through everything, when calculated, has risen by a staggering 10p in the pound since they came to power 10 years ago! And what has this country received back in return, fuck all!
