The bottom line is this.......if your friends are true friends, they won't care about your condition, in fact they should support you. If you can say with 100% that they'd make fun of you, stop being friends with, snicker at you behind your back - then I'm sorry but they are not friends and you need to make new ones. Surrounding yourself with falseness will only compound your problem. Surrounding yourself with people that aren't "real" people will only worsen your lack of esteem.

And the same goes for women. Sure you might have to rethink your strategy a bit on how you approach them(not picking them up at bars, random hookups, etc).....but any woman who truly likes you for who you are won't care about a little piece of skin that makes up .01% of you soul.

I have completely isolated myself from my friends because i have this, i can not live a normal life. when i go out and a girl hits on me, i am forced to make up an exuse that my friends would believe to why i didn't get with her. the even more shittier thing is i am only 16.
