Damn I never knew what those were called before. In fact I thought they were hair follicles too sticking up because of dry skin... I was looking at those pics trying to see wtf the 'condition' was because they just look like... skin?

Relax bro. Girls are only going to freak out if YOU seem to be freaked out about it. Just be like, whatever, I have dry skin (good excuse for whatever little flaws your skin may have), get the fuck over it and make me a sammich.

People DO leave their houses all the time with that condition, Problem Child. My husband has a partner who has Fordyce spots on his lips, and I know plenty of others who do, too. They're harmless and almost not noticeable. You've got the problem over-magnified in your head and have let this turn into a sort of body dysmorphic disorder. (Read about that one.)

Seriously, if you're letting a condition in which you have slightly raised sebaceous glands keep you isolated at home and from friends, you need to talk to someone to help put that back in perspective.

OK- NONE of us are perfect! We ALL have flaws! You, me, Miss America- we ain't perfect! And when it comes to negative self images, well, usually girls have got the boys beat by a long shot! Kids are SO hung up on their self image! Perfectly normal kids think they are too fat, too thin, their eyes are too small, their nose is too big, their left boob is bigger than the right, they have a birth mark, all kinds of overblown stuff! In the end, WHO you are is far more important than how you look!

So stop hassling so much- if a girl decides to dump you for a "cosmetic" reason, she likely wasn't worth dating anyway. Your male friends accept you as you are- why wouldn't a girlfriend accept you? Your friends like you- A girlfriend is supposed to be in love with you! How could a cosmetic problem run off anyone who really loved you? Dudes who have zits still get gals, not as many as the guys with clearer skin, but they do date.

By the time you get around to having sex, your gal should love you for who you are. A bunch of non-contagious, goosebumps shouldn't be enough to freak her out!
