    Oh well. One less friend.

Well, one of my friends decided that he no longer enjoys smoking weed. That's no problem in itself, but it seems like he no longer wants to be my friend, since cannabis is such a large part of my life.

The unfortunate thing is that he was a member of this site, and helped me with my previous grows. In fact, I had plans to give him seedlings which he was anticipating to grow outdoors.

The past few weeks, he has smoked a lot less at my house. He's the one friend that I had that never took advantage of my weed. In the past, people would show up to smoke. But, he was a friend that didn't care if I didn't smoke with him or anything. He just enjoyed it free of charge every weekend since last winter courtesy of me.

Well, anyway, I think it all started about a half hour ago, when I talked about how I could get a Micro Korg (it's a synth). He wanted me to get it instead of getting weed tomorrow. I'm a daily smoker and have been for over a year. I believe if I hadn't discovered marijuana I would have been dead by now due to suicide. Anyway, on with my story, I'm not quitting smoking, and if I'm out of weed, that's my first priority, is to replenish. It's been like that for a long time, and it's not going to change.

Anyway, on with my story. He then told me, he doesn't support me spending all my money on weed, which I can respect, because that's his opinion. He then told me, he's not going to smoke any more of my weed because it just contributes to me getting more. I told him I don't mind him smoking, because it doesn't take much to get him high, etc... He then told me he didn't want the two plants I was going to give him. He then gave me back the 20 dollars I gave him for gas money to go get weed tomorrow.

He then told me I smoke way too much, which I don't, compared to how I used to be. I used to (when I was smoking seedless high-mids) smoke an ounce every 3 days. I would constantly be smoking. I'd always be in a good mood too. Well anyway, now I only have contacts for shitty weed which I never use, or extremely high quality marijuana, which is what I smoke.

For 160 I usually get 10 grams, and this lasts me 2-3 days, until it's time to get more. So, as you can see, I don't smoke as much as I used to. If I had the money, 10 grams would only last me a few hours, like it used to when I had connects for good mids.

Anyway, now I have no smoking friends. He was my music friend as well, but some people can't accept other people for their differences.

All my other friends who were older all left for college last year. My other smoking friends all live in different towns. So, now this means, more weed for me. But no friends. He was also going to help me get a job, but that probably failed to. Well, I'm glad I'm not friends with people that change so quickly.

Maybe some day I'll find friends that can accept me for who I am. Someone who does daily activities but just smokes every day. Not someone that hates that, all of a sudden, and then doesn't want to be your friend.

Unfortunately, I'm going through hydrocodone withdrawal since I was abusing them and got addicted. I quit, because, it wasn't good, and weed isn't a bad drug, and it saved me from my cocaine addiction in the past.

But, now that I've lost a friend, I feel somewhat inclined to continue down the path of self destruction.

But luckily, I'll have more weed tomorrow and all will be well. I'll be able to smoke it in peace, and listen to my favorite songs. I'll also be able to wait for my lowryder seeds to arrive. Then, I'll be happy again. In the meantime maybe I'll meet some cool like minded people at some concerts this summer. Last year, I met a bunch of cool people at warped tour.

Sorry for the rant, I just needed somewhere to type it. I wish I could hang out with some of you guys on here, well at least that's what the internet's for.

    Peace,

    Oh well. One less friend.

    Thanks.

Oh, by the way, I forgot to mention. During his explanation that I smoke way too much, he also told me that it's pathetic to smoke that much. Well, during my calculations, I now smoke around 3.3 grams a day of the highest grade marijuana. I used to smoke around 9.3 grams a day, so I cut down considerably. Besides, lots of people smoke daily, to help them live and deal with life. It's not some unnatural thing.

Well, like the KMK song, "I'm gonna smoke weed for the rest of my life. You can find me posted on my porch tokin' on a pipe. I'm gonna smoke weed for the rest of my life. See some people gave in, but I ain't giving up this fight. I'm gonna smoke weed for the rest of my life. You'll find me old posted on my porch tokin' on a pipe. I'm gonna smoke weed for the rest of my life. See I'm in love with Mary Jane I'm gonna make her my wife."

Nice song, kmk? what song? i hope it isn't obvious......

and don't sweat it.. he shouldn't be judging you anyways.
    You aren't your weed use.
I'm sure there is a lot more to you than your 1/8 of smoke a day, which IMO is leaning towards heavy use. But as long as you smoke and maintain. Have priorities and responsibilities........fuck him lol

    "Rest of my Life"

And yeah, like I said, I used to smoke a lot heavier. So, I don't really care about any one's negative opinions. It's a shame that I had to lose a friend, but they must not have been a real friend in the first place.

I'll admit, I don't see what your friend did other than stop for himself, give you back your money, and then observe that an eighth a day might be a little on the high side of things.

I'd tend to agree. I'm not saying I couldn't smoke an eighth in a day, I just don't think I'd get noticably higher for about 14 hours of it or so. You could shoot pure thc into your bloodstream but your body is only capable of reacting to so much of it at a time. Meanwhile you can't make a quarter last more than three days? If that...

anyway, if your first priority in life is to always have weed on hand... Well, maybe you should question your priorities. Just a thought.

Your friend is seriously depressed and needs your support.
Tell him that his mood swings are freaking you out, and that he should get some help.

    Oh well. One less friend.

My priority in life is cultivating cannabis, enjoying music, and enjoying my life. Smoking daily is part of enjoying my life. I don't find a point in life, so I make my own point, which is to enjoy it as I'm just going to die like every one else.

I guess you could say I lead a simple life, and that's the way I like it.

And, as I've said before, I don't smoke a large amount. Sure, maybe a large amount to the new and/or occasional smoker, but a small to average amount for the daily medicinal user, which the only thing separating me from being a medicinal user, is the fact that I don't live in a state that allows me to get a card (which I have several qualifications for).

And, the purpose for the rant, is that, it was a complete change of my friend to suddenly turn against marijuana. He had been my friend long before I even started using marijuana, and used it with me many times. He also would participate in the experimentation of other mind altering substances. He would laugh at the hypocrisy of the anti-weed commercials and messages.

By the way, I don't see how it's such a big deal that a quarter of the highest quality marijuana only lasts me 3 days. I have a Zig Zag 78mm rolling machine. It takes the Zig Zag 1 1/4 papers. To create a full size joint that burns evenly, it takes anywhere from .9 to 1.2 grams.

When I wake up, I'll enjoy a joint while listening to some music to inspire my day. I'll then do my daily activities. If a friend comes over to hang out, we'll smoke a joint or two. In the evening, I'll usually smoke two joints. So, my calculations weren't lying. I smoke around 3 joints a day. Each joint being about a gram. So, by making a $160 10 gram bag last 3 days is average for me.

Why am I explaining myself to novices or people that simply can not understand?

As I said in the past, when I was getting good seedless mids, I was smoking at least 10 grams a day, and was high practically all day every day. The weeds potency wasn't that different either. The only main difference, between the ultra high quality weed I get now, is the appearance and flavor. As well as smell and other enjoyable things.

I'm not complaining about the situation I'm in either, as I enjoy smoking quality weed. I'm just saying, I'm getting high significantly less than I usually did. Because of the cost of the weed I now buy. I need to conserve it, so I can make it last 3 days instead of one.

    Oh well. One less friend.

I really don't need to defend my weed usage, since this is a cannabis site, but just for the fun of it, I'd rather be smoking 3 joints spread throughout the day, than be taking a countless number of hydrocodones a day. Well, actually, that's a lie, but I don't want to ruin my liver, or life, so I need to get away from that bad habit of mine. Besides, it was starting to ruin cannabis for me, because the high is so much more intense when mixed with opiates, that a regular high just wasn't doing it for me.
