You know that guy who played Scotty on Star Trek? That was his grand wish in life and he was fortunate to have the postmortem dream come true, except that when the rocket launched the achieved orbit was too low and the capsule with his remains ended up lost in a forest. His remains were found and presumably re-launched but the whole thing is still ironic. Being shot up into space would be very cool, indeed, but the problem there is, like Scotty, the capsules stay up for only a few minutes. At least, that is, with current technology.

For myself, I want to be donated to science, maybe be one of those guys whose bodies are sliced in cross-sections and displayed in a museum.
