flowering under CFL`s
First time Grower,
I started out with some special seeds that I saved from some good dank I sampled. Im cutting out the middle man, disgusted dealing prices.I started out with some CfL`s 4- 26 watt, daylight and 1 105 watt full spectrum 5,000 k and 6,200 lumens bulb.
I started in march of this year, at that time i had 6 plants that vegetated for 2 months, I am coming into the 5th week of flowering with the 5 female plants out of the 6. I wasn't very confident of the progress in the beginning but as of lately they are looking very good and plentiful, for the lighting that i have. I have been checking around the various sights for threads and have come to realize that the lighting is a very important factor.
I have cloned several plants and I am going to try a different light approach with these. A 400 watt hps/mh light. And i was wondering how a conversion bulb would do in the flowering process and would it work on the 10 clones that i have growing.Mota Reviewed by Mota on . flowering under CFL`s First time Grower, I started out with some special seeds that I saved from some good dank I sampled. But, I'm using the big CFL's. I have a 150 wt warm bulb and a 105 wt cool one for 6 sq ft (both with reflectors), for about 40 wts/ sq ft.

Do you already have the conversion? If you don't, don't bother, you can use the CFL's for the beginning stages (clones sprouts) and then have a seperate area for flowering with an HPS.
If you already have it, use the CFL's till the clones are rooted and then put them under the MH until it's time to switch to 12/12, then introduce the HPS. Simple as pie.

Here's a few pics . . .this was two White Widow females from seed, 6sq ft, 255 wts CFL, yield about 1.25 oz cured. Now I have three clones in flower, and hope to get 2.5oz from the next harvest using the same setup with scrog.
