i normally kiss 1st but i must be completely sure and feel out the situation before i look like a ass and feel pretty dumb, I never kissed on a first date either just too wierd and nerve racking.

i never have been rejected from a kiss either so id imagine that you must feel really dumb and awkward after.

Yeah, just the idea of being rejected from a kiss puts my stomache in a knot...you'd probably feel incredibly shitty about yourself afterwards.

It's like I said in my first encounter thread....how are we supposed to know you want or are ready for a kiss???
I have never gotten my face pushed away or any kiss denied and I couldn't imagine the embarrasment.

Jesus, in one of your other threads you were saying that we seems similar in certain regards. Reading your two posts in this thread, that's exactly how I felt at your age hahaha. I'm fairly ok with it now, but when I was in my teens, I'd never kiss a girl unless I was 100% sure she wanted it, backed up by many hints, just to be safe. I friggin hated the idea of rejection. I've only been rejected twice tho, but i attribute that to how friggin safe I used to (and still do to an extent) play it.

Even now if i'm bar hopping, sometimes that feeling gets to me and I get too scared to talk to the ladies. The logical reasonable version of me thinks "Who cares, if she doesn't like you, there's tonnes more to try with" but the more emotional me says "DON'T DO IT!" hahahaa
