There is just a slight difference right after smoking or eating (4-8 hours then no differences) but for the most part it takes the same time whether
eaten or smoked. The detection period for oral fluid varies a little depending on who makes the test but it can range between 1-96 hours with most only detecting between 1-48 hours.

I think the OP means how long does it take to leave your body, not how long to feel the effects which looks like what you answered.
