problem with light/ PLEASE HELP!
ok...I have a 250w HID light with a chinamans hat reflector. I live in a very conservative country in Asia. I could have bought a grow light (hps) off the net from a growshop here but didnt want to for security reasons.....so I went to a light shop and just bought the 250w HID. 10 years ago I had (in my country....Oz) a 400w son t argo and the plants grew very nice. However, im concerned about the light I have now.....its pretty bright but I remember when I had the 400w son t argo I had to wear glasses (for cupboard) and it was a yellowish kind of light.
would the light I have now be ok for cannabis? also for flowering? I just wonder if I should buy mail order in the country I live a 360w HPS (HPS is good for flowering right??) just I dont want to pay 600bucks for the light AND ill only be doing this one crop with this one plants till I go back home.....to my country where the power is different and I couldnt re use the light again....
so....all up is the HID 250w ok to use? its only a small cupboard with one NL .....timbuck3 Reviewed by timbuck3 on . problem with light/ PLEASE HELP! ok...I have a 250w HID light with a chinamans hat reflector. Yeah, the little streetlight will get ya a little bud.
Two things-
much better 250 watt bulbs are available, and shipping on a bulb is cheap.
You can mod the ballast to work just about anywhere by changing the power cord. If voltage is differant, you go to a differant tap for the hot side.
Digi's autodetect input voltage- you just swap the cord.I assume you understand that we have options on your time,
And we will ditch you in the harbour if we must-
But if it all works out nicely,
You\'ll get the bonus you deserve
From doctors we trust.
