Mike Gravel for President!!!

i don't think many of you can identify Mike Gravel, but he is actually running for the democrat spot for presidente!

his policies are all good with me, but the things that really make him stand out are his reforms he wants to inforce. National Sales tax, innitiative democracy ... oh... did i mention HE WantS TO LEGALIZE IT!!!

He states in his policy list under Drug Reform (towards the bottem) to lift the penalties on drug holders, saying that to many young people are tied up in jail because of the harsh punishment for such little drug offenses.

I came across this on facebook and later saw his interview after the first democrat debate on CNN, HE WANTS TO LEGALIZE IT! (youtube the video "Mike Gravel on CNN", it's classy)

He's not a "politician" like Hilary or Johnny Edwards, nor is he a young buck like Barak. He's an old timer who's got his eye on America's health. He stopped the draft for vietnam. He worked all through college to pay for it as a taxi driver. He's the real deal!


this guy has my vote, a demy that wants to cut down on government spending (AND ELIMINATE THE IRS!) and wants to legalize marijuana! Spread the word people, he has very little recognition, more than before with the little publicity he had from his hilarious comments on the other candidates. Lets GO!:rastasmoke:

I think a split ticket, Gravel-Paul would be ideal. I don't see why it couldn't work. In Nevada the election for Governor and "vice" governor are held as two separate entities. we've had a republican governor and a democratic Lt. governor. I think this would work well in the pres and veep races. I'm also for Gravel-Kucinich or Gravel-Edwards but I doubt He has a chance.

it was brought up to Gravel and he hinted at the possibility but didn't assure. it was a video on youtube, i'll find it later, it would definatly be a land slide victory either way (paul as vp or prez and gravel vis versa)


i watched Paul's debate points and man did he OWN. those other candidates got nothing. if he or mike don't make it then this country is going to shit.
