First off, why is it that the male has to step up and start the conversation with the female? I do it without hesitation(sometimes) but it's fucked up. I have to open my self up to rejection and admit that I think someone is interesting....without knowing if you have a boyfriend, are gay or even think i'm good looking. It's nerve-racking. You all should feel it too once in a while. It would make my day if a decent looking girl came up and started a conversation with me.

anyways, I usually ask if she is "with" anyone. I figure, if she digs me, she'll tell me she doesn't and if she thinks im ass-ugly or whatever-she'll tell me she has a boyfriend. So I make it easier for both of us.

My questions for all of you are...

why is it that the male has to step up and start the conversation with the female?

What's the best way of approaching you without looking corny?

What hints or clues should I look for to know if you are interested as well?

i'll think of more.....
