It seems that we're fucked either way....either the UN or the USA will keep us downtrodden and oppressed, and exert their personal agendas.

Of course they will, doesn't really matter though. It's a bitch that these governments will keep us so oppressed by dictating personal morality as law. But if enough of the public gets sick of it, government ideologies are inevitably overturned. I truly believe that cannabis will one day become legal, because every year I hear more and more high-up people being informed, more regular people being educated about all the facts. The provincial B.C. NDP here in my province constantly switches rulership with the liberals (who are, ironically, our conservatives), and they intend to legalize it 100% with regulation and all. Human will is stronger my good man, it just takes a while to get things done with big brothers boot on our back.
