this afternoon with music... story...

so i just got back home after having a lot of fun this afternoon.

i finally got my two 10inch kicker subwoofers installed at circuit city in my truck with some little 300 watt amp i got off ebay. i dropped it off and when i got back, the guy was like... "man i was impressed. your subs hit hard... i didn't think that amp would do it but it sounds great."

i just wanted a little extra deep thump in my truck, so i was happy with what he said.

before testing the limits, i went back to my apartment to take a one-hit before going on a little driving section in the boonies...

all i can say is damn... i knew it was going to be good but not this good...

i had the subs up as loud as i could comfortably stand them for a good hour of driving, listening to fast rock and deep bass rap before my newly installed amp overheated and gave out...

i had to turn off the music for a few minutes before it wanted to work again.

if anyone's thought of getting a system, or at least a little extra thump: just do it.

Sounds sick man. What exact woofers are they?
One of my bros has a 10-inch Alpine X in his car that thumps pretty fucking hard. He just got a bigass alphasonik amp so he can put in a second X. It's gonna be sick crazy bass :stoned:

i dunno the model for the subs... just that they're two 10's in a nice box. the amp i got was mtx, a brand recommended by a friend.

it's awesome when you're driving on the freeway though, cause you can crank it without worrying like you would driving through a quiet neighborhood. i have to use my side mirrors because the bass shakes my rearview like crazy.

i've been compiling an itunes playlist for the best songs to ride to. good times
