How do you guys feel about executing people who are retarded.... Personally I feel that if someone commits a crime worthy of execution be they mentally retarded or not they should be killed... the fact that someone is retarded doesn't change the fact that they killed someone... you do the crime you do the time/execution weither you be retarded or not. so if a 5yr old kills a infant youd be in favor of strapping the 5yr old in the electric chair? have you ever read the book 'of mice and men'? how can you execute a person with the mentality of a 10yr old or younger, im not religious but i even know thats just evil. A five year old is different from a grow adult with teh mentality of a 5 year old.. I say that if you kill someone you should be killed... Don't "help someone" because they didn't know what they did... thats like saying someone who is trippin on a bizillion hits of lsd killed someone should be "helped" because he didn't know what he was doing... And I am a christian... but im a old testament God kinda person... I don't believe in the pacifist "help people" BS. You kill those who killed.. simple as that... with the exception of war, children (under the age of 15), and if someone accidentlly killed someone I don't think they should be killed... just put in jail for life.

you cant just say your retarded, i doubt real retarded people know theres something wrong about themselves, your either born that way or you suffer a tramatic accident and suffer brain damage. You cant punish them with death for something they did that they dont understand to be wrong. How about this you smoke weed your a criminal you should be thrown in jail, thats fair.

Sure I believe if you commit a crime and you were aware of what was going on or even if you were under the influence of a drug such as alcohol you should do time. Take a close look at the death penalty though, it costs just as much if not more than life in prison.

Yeah I smoke weed... but im not hurting anybody... i'll put it like this... if my smoking marijuana caused someone to have lung cancer... and it was proven that it was my smoking that caused their lung cancer and they died from it... I would except to goto to jail for life... because my actions unintentionally killed someone...

The fact that someone doesn't know what their doing doesn't change the fact that they did what they did... If someone killed someone and they were mentally slow... They should be killed... I jsut don't see how people can think that people who are mentally insane can get away with shit.

A physcopath is not the same as a person born with down's syndrome for example. If someone with the IQ of a 5 year old commits a crime it is because they were not being properly looked after. A sociopath on the other hand can mask their mental illness and has no remorse.
