. I finished it about a week ago, after spending some time on it for about two days. It's called "Spiderwebs".. it kind of draws influences from Amon Tobin and Autechre.

And if you like this check out the other tracks too... The other 3 tracks are from the first EP of about 6 songs I made, and "Spiderwebs" is going to be on the second EP im currently working on. I'm excited for this, I can tell with this track that my own sound is evolving.

aww... come on, won't anyone take some time to check out my tracks? I could really use some feedback on the project I've been focusing on lately.

I am listening to "Something Wicked Brews." It is not what I listen to, and it all seems a little one-dimensional to me. It certainly has a distinct sound though. I would work on trying to bring that out more.

I think you have to find some consistancy with your style. It's something that takes time and simply creating more music. I heard all those songs. I like Flying, Falling, Floa.... the best. If you add a little more fullness to it, I think it could be something really good. However each of those songs sounded like if you derived directly from your influences. I listen to enough BOC and Squarepusher to realize that :P While it's criticism, at the same time it's a compliment. At least you are influenced by the best of what electronica has to offer.

Thanks for listening and commenting, I do really appreciate that a lot. Yeah I'd say I'm still kinda trying to find my own sound I guess, while familliarizing myslef with Reason 3.5. I've only been making tracks with Reason since December. On the first EP I pretty much experimented with a different style on every track. So I will agree with you on the direct influence, thats quite a fair statement.

As for "Something Wicked Breathes Below" (which is the full title although myspace cuts it off).. that was the second track I made, hence why it sounds a little one dimensional.

"Flying, Falling, Floating" is my personal favorite of what I've made as well, glad you like.

Thanks again for the feedback, I will probably be posting more tracks up as I progress through making the second EP, wich will likely follow the style of "Spiderwebs" and "F.F.F."

Oh.. and I took one of the tracks down and added the first track I ever made, called Dungeon Level 3000 (inspired by the old mario games and other nintendo games) It seems to be a favorite of what I've made from the people I've played my stuff for, check it out

I think you just gotta develop the sound a bit more, tighten it up a bit. :thumbsup:
I've considered looking into Reason before, how are you liking it?

I've found Reason to be quite powerful so far, I still haven't completely figured it out yet, but as you can hear, it's doing me pretty well so far.

I'm loving the dungeon song, I used to listen to lots of stuff back in the day, and while it's not generally my taste anymore, I can appreciate the songs that aren't just random sounds with barely a rhythm. But yeah I like the raw grittiness of that track. Something wicked is pretty damn cool too.

And yes, reason is a great program, I can't wait for #4, the synth coming with it looks crazy.

You have some good beats and sounds. Your style is definitely emerging, but you need some better production and your songs lack a consistent beat to hold them together.
I'd work on those compressor settings a bit too.
As you said, you'll keep learning, so keep up the good work!
