I think your soil is too 'hot' for seedlings. Ocean Forest has available nutrients in it and I personally would not use it until after the first transplant. Then it is a great soil- but for now, FLUSH your seedlings carfeully and hope they improve! They sound a bit burnt.

your 'brown tinge' at the leaf tips is, as Stinky suggested, is a sign of a bit too much nutes ... nitrogen, specifically, and I too, had quite a few problems using Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil with seedlings ... it is too 'hot' for some younguns ... Fox Farm has a potting soil that is much better, in my estimation ... Custom39 turned me on to it, it's called Fox Farms Happy Frog Potting Soil, also available as just a soil enhancer, for adding to your own soil, etc.. ... regardless, you should never add nutes to a young seedling, for the first 2-3 weeks, and the Ocean Forest is pretty nuted-up from the bag ... great soil, after you transplant to bigger pot, though :smokin:
