    Hmmm...are you using city water?

    Are you using any fertilizer or nutrients?

    Ordinarily I'm thrilled with photos but when that's the only info I get it's just not enough.

    Try this link since I don't have any idea what the problem is.....not knowing any info such as nutrients, lighting, plant age, room temps etc etc etc.

    Several things:
    Edge and tip scorch= fert burn
    Soil= WAY too wet
    Pale stripes between veins= Mg deficiency
    Red petioles= Sulfur deficiency
    That pot= I'll bet it has a built-in tray... TEAR THAT MOFO OFF!!! And drill some more holes in the sides of the pot if you like, you need better drainage.

    All these things together= I'm looking at soggy soil that is probably out of pH range, making your plant exhibit both burn AND deficiency. You will have a bitch of a time flushing with that tray on the pot, but flush- test your runoff pH and adjust the flush water accordingly. Then on the final flush add a complete nute with micros, at 1/4-1/2 strength. You need those micros and a foliar feed wouldn't hurt either.
    Also, did you slice up that peat pot before planting? Roots DO go throguh them but not as easily as advertised lol...

    I checked the Ph, it's a steady 7.0. the plants were initially in smaller pots with too much fert, i took the plants out and put them in bigger pots with 80% new soil. they got much better but 3 weeks later (which is now) they are beginning to show signs of overfert again (but i haven't fertilized). They were doing fine for 3 weeks and all of a sudden they are showing overfert problems. The soil is not way too wet, i water once every 4 days or so. Anyway, what should i do to fix the problem? If i have both burn and deficiency then how do i add more fert without burning further?

    I had a couple of plants that looked very similar to that one.

    What i did, was change to organic fert', add Epsom salts for mag def, and added crushed up egg shells for calcium def, within a week they looked a lot healthier, anyway good-luck with your grow.:jointsmile:

    That is too high. You need to get down to 6.5-6.8.

    Looks way too wet to me. Timing of watering has less to do with this than poor drainage, water retention properties fo the soil, and transpiration rate of the plant. Have you taken the tray off yet? That type of pot is meant for houseplants that are generally slow-growing shade plants, not crops in aggressive indoor culture.

    to what did you add epsom salt?
    the soil? the fert water?
    you already have a fert burn... without flushing first, you are just adding to the problem by introducing more chemicals into the soil
