Couple suggestions- COVER CROP!!! Get your butt down to Agway and buy a BUNCH of tomato plants, plant them between your rows to add legitimacy to your garden. We seem to have a bit of a helicopter problem in this state... your plants are pretty out in the open and need a better disguise. Making a thin slurry of water and flour and adding a couple drops of red vegetable dye can be used to further disguise your plants by changing their color just slightly. Paint or spray it on the leaves.

Thinning- you may want to cull runts at some point to give the more vigorous plants space.

Timing- you're late but not obscenely so. The crop will NOT be a wasted effort by any stretch.
