Canadian cannabis laws

Anyone know what the penalts are for trafficing, possession and cultivating of cannabis in canada are? Personal experiences?

I've seen people get nailed for 1gram of weed resulting in a possession charge but since 2003 I believe, it was somewhat decriminalized. They say 15g or less is tolerated but its up to the officers discretion wether to charge, fine or let you go. Anything more than 15g, they have to follow protocol and procedures etc..

Depends on where you, what you're doing, how you act towards the cop, what kind of mood the cop is in, etc. The laws are on the books like they always have been. There is NO decriminalization. With Harper and the New Conservatives in charge, things are bound the get stricter.

You'd think laws regarding this would be easily accessable. But its not! No one seems to know, and hell if i can find it. All I do know is we are lot less strict than the USA (they have some major sticks up their asses there), and the cops only seem to care if you're growing a huge operation. Not that i would ever count on that.
