Plant from femmenized seed has seeds...

Hey Guys,

So much to my dismay I've discovered my femmenized Master Kush plant on week 7 of flowering has seeds. I thought the swelling of buds was just the buds getting denser in the last days of flowering but there's no denying they're seeds.

So I assume my plant turned into a hermie from either a light leak or some other form of stress - what I'm wondering is if the seeds I get from this plant are going to be femenized as well? If so, that's pretty awesome and I'm not quite as upset

Any input would be appreciated!!

get used to it ... 'feminized' seeds SUCK ... now, you not only have a hermaphroditic plant, but you also have seeds that will produce more hermies ... destroy it (by smoking, of course:jointsmile, but don't perpetuate that bad trait ... and, don't waste future $$$ on 'feminized' seeds :smokin:

That's sad. WTF hadn't I heard about fem seeds sucking before? I've been reading/growing for about a year now. All my previous grows were males (3 times all males) which is why I decided to go the fem route... incredibly expensive seeds ordered from over seas. Man, what a freakin buzz kill...

it sucks to hear that dude i thought feminzed seeds where the dogs bollox to because of the hefty price tag and i got 6 feminized seed off my bro which i was gonna start after ive finished my mates grow for him

They were Dutch Passion Femmenized: Master Kush off of Online Growshop Ali�«n . Definitely not very happy to hear this but what can ya do?

I guess next time I can try harder not to stress the plant. It grew a lot bigger than I had anticipated so I wasn't fully prepared.

don't give up yet ... you may get some good females, just be sure to look carefully for developing male flowers throughout your grow ... if your plants don't turn hermie, you're good to go ... it is VERY common to get hermies, but, it doesn't 'always' happen ... my major complaint with the 'feminized' seedplants, is making seeds from them, and continuing the problem ... they're still excellent to smoke, no damage done there :jointsmile: ... :smokin:

I just harvested a couple of my Dutch Passion White Widows, grown from their 'regular', cheaper seeds - got 5 females, 5 males, some of my worst 'sexing' results ever, but they DID germinate very fast, were fresh ... :smokin:

harvest as normal. next time round grow a strain thats slightly more immune to stress.
