STORING... NEED HELP ASAP, PLEASE!!!

i just got some of the best bud ever! i want to preserve it well... i have a mason jar and my question is this....
should i put it in the mason jar alone...
or should i put it in the mason jar with the plastic bag?

which would keep its flavor and make it last longer?

any suggestions would help alot... i just need em quickly.. thanks!
