OK, I'll take pity on you. Your seedling should be protected from direct sun for a few days. A chunk of cardboard and a couple of fair sized rocks to make a "bridge" over your seedling will work just fine. It's good that you are transplanting at night (provided it isn't too cold), it gives the plant some time to adjust before the sun and wind hit it. Water your baby, so she will not get thirsty. The big question is how cold is it where you are? If the night time temps are in the mid 40s or more, there is no problem. The closer you get to freezing the more problems can pop up. Sunlight is better than ANY lighting system. One last bit of advice-Don't tell ANYONE you are growing! - Granny:hippy:

Moving seedling outside need help ASAP
damn,i already planted it.thanks for the input.ive grew alot of shit at one time before but most of my plants dies or never sprouted if grown straight from the soil and i never usually planted them this early in there prescious life cycle but im goin away for a few days and the light i had is a 20 watt flourescent construction light and it gets really hott and i dont want to take the risk of a fire, and i dont grow shit in my parent's house(i used to until i realized the risks)so now the only plants i ever have inside is seedlings in the window or under that bulb.ill check on my baby when i get back and take/post pics.

As soon as mine popped the shell in germ, I moved and put about 1/4 inch into the soil outside.... I have had issues... but they are doing fairly well now... a month or so later...
