    Natural light?

When the amount of DARKNESS reaches a certain point, that is when the plant starts to flower. Some can flower in as little as 10 hours of darkness, most flower in 12 hours of darkness. Other amounts can cause a pre-flowering or a partial flowering, which is not of use to the medical cannabis gardener.

This thread should be in the Growing Sections.

I thought you were talking about Natural Light Beer, too. lol

    LOL.

That's what I thought when I read this topic. lmao

Recent news but researchers have identified what tells a plant to flower. It is called florigen. I don't remember anything else.

I have read this whole thread. And I just have to say, man where the fuck did you come from? If you don't appreciate the help people are trying to give you then just stop, you are being pathetic. Plants flower because as the days become short the photo period changes which causes a reaction in them to stop vegetating and start producing flowers. Male to produce sacs or "balls" containing pollen and for the females to produce flower bracts meant to be pollinated in order for them to produce a seed so they can continue the cycle the next year unless of course you don't want seeds then you would just kill the males. And that is basically how and why plants flower in a nut shell I'm pretty sure I haven't said anything different than any one else above has said because this is basically the answer to why they flower. If you still understand maybe you need to work on your comprehension skills.

BlackBerry first off, can you put a bit more effort into making your posts readable? It's kinda hard to answer questions that are written so incomprehensibly... honestly, wtf doesn 'ofy texan thead' mean?

Second, "finally a half ass answer ya the growers dont know uh what photoperiodic huh"... can I just say that it does not help to insult the people you are asking for advice?

You obviously need to do a lot of research on plants in general.
