    Question about curing

there is quite a bit about curing on here if you search for it, but what i do is place my trimmed buds in a paper sack(s) for about a week or a little more (depending on the quanity)to dry. i occasionally move them around to get air to the sides that or on the bottom or touching other buds. this wont get you the prettiest buds because the sides will flatten some(hanging on a drying line would look better if looks are important) then when they feel good and dry or the stems snap, not break, when bent. place them in a glass jar with a lid. not too tight or packed. if the buds feel dry going in you will see when you open the jar how much moisture there actually was still in there when you open it. open daily for a few minutes at a time, a half an hour or so to get fresh air and release moisture. make sure you open them or you will get an amonia smell or worse, mold. after a week or so you will notice that they dont feel wet when you open it, they are basicly cured. if you plan on leaving them in there, still check every so often to make sure there was not too much moisture left. its still keeps getting better the longer you leave them in the jar before smoking, to a certain point of course. i had a stash a yr and a half old that was so sweet and smooth, that after smoking it, it will be hard to ever go back to commercial smoke. and dont let the jars get too much heat or any light if you can help it. long winded i know, sorry.

yea thats pretty much the simplest explaination anyone could have givin but the best...and just do it and try not to smoosh them around and theyll stay whole and make sure you follow what he says about the opening and closing soo you dont get mold...or all the work will be a waste of time....
