I believe England should give Scotland independance and let them sort themselves out, England finances Scotland and they would be better off without paying all the things like free education for Scots students whilst people in England have to pay.

yes they should, scotland is a drain on the british economy. head for head scotland recieves more money than people do in britain and were paying taxes for it.

England you can keep your taxes! I think you'll find anyway that it is Scotland which mostly funds England through Gordon Browns hugely inflated stealth taxation on alcoholism and smoking tabs. And while your at it you can take that expensive lump of nuclear waste- Satan's submarine out of our shoreland!

thats no problem, but the tax on alcohol and cigerrettes is universal. its not a ploy to keep yo out of new kilts. you scrounge shit loads of us. enough so that you can afford to pay for your kids to go to uni for free. lets be honest you'd be glad of the sub if someone nuked glasglow, but im not sure ti would look much dissimilar

I suppose it is of some comfort that if some evil dictator from the middle east completely destroyed a large part of scotland with their weapons of mass destruction (that we probably sold him in the first place) we would have the technology to reciprocate the gesture.

Alex Salmond is apparently gaining popularity for this, particularly in england who seem to be getting a bit wound up about the supposedly made up propaganda that they pay for most of our doley scum. I'm in favour of it really, whats the point in having half a government sucking up the ass of the english who in turn suck up to Bush. It just don't make sense.

Ha ha with the English pay for Scotland. The propaganda doesn't include the massive subsidies to London from civil services jobs, London Underground investment, Channel Tunnel, Olympic Games, military installations, flood defences and a shed load of other stuff that subsidises London and the South East off the balance sheet.
