Well i hate how everyone says that its not even music because its just screaming. Most people just listen to 5 seconds of a song and are like its screaming and i dont want anything to do with it. Its the best kind of music, its takes a lot of talent and the emotion in it is real. Classic rock is good too but i think that it doent have the emotion in it and i think it could be related to rap just because of the way they sing and what they sing Rating: 5

Most really heavy stuff I just find too abrasive, and I cannot listen to it without getting a headache.

Having said that, Sepultura do have their moments.

Indeed... i like almost any kind of metal, and screaming is nice, but with moderation. TOO much can become annoying. Sepultura is very good indeed, one of the best Brasilian bands. Angra is very good too. Its melodic power metal, with FAST guitars. :chainsaw:

Personally, I feel screamo has taken metal in an entirely wrong direction. I don't know if "screamo" is meant to mean a screaming version of "emo", but it sounds like that to me. It's true, screaming does take some very strong vocals, but there's proper death metal screaming that sound really good, and then there's screamo.... which to me sounds like angry teenagers making music for angry teenagers. To each is own though. As I always believed music is more about what you take from it than what others think it delivers.
