There's no national minimum wage, but the NDP is pushing for a $10.00 an hour one. Here in BC it's $8.00 an hour, and the fast food places are having trouble recruiting because of their shit wages, hence they've been increasing it a bit. And the medical benefits are just awsome, my meds cost $160 a month as is. 10 bucks, that's the evils of Canadian socialism for you

Whoohoo, I'm finally working! :) I'm sure few if any will care, but I finally got a job after being out of work for the past 2 years, and just felt like anouncing it:jointsmile:. I got the job at the A&W just down the street, said I'd work for no less than $9.50, so they gave me $10.00! Plus I get full medical and dental benefits. Only working part time to see how much I can handle pain-wise, but I'm pretty sure as long as I keep taking crap-loads of painkillers just for my shifts I can keep at it. lol, though I'll have to Rating: 5
