Is a clone, and in this case I reffer to a cutting, not part of and as old as the rest of the plant? It has just been turned into its own being, but still has the exact dna make-up and age as the original specimen.

when the rooting hormone is produced it also tips another hormone that is like a clock, it will vary plant to plant as in all traits, but it is going, so it is connected to rooting hormone, auxin?, not the original mothers birth.
