Howdy slipknot,

I reckon, that you could leave the light on for 24 hours, but after awhile, the plant may start experiencing stress because of not gittin any rest..the basic rule of thumb-is 2 months veg..then flower. However, some growers veg for 3 months, because they are trying to establish a good mother,or for breeding purposes,or simply because of the increased yield and potency, that comes from a more mature plant.

If you wanted, you could force clones into flower-as soon as 2-3 weeks of vegging. So..if your plant,is a female, then what you could do,is to take clones from her,veg them for 3-6 weeks and then put em to flower. That way, you'll know in advance, that your plants are all female, and you won't waste any time or resources on male plants.

Keep on reading, basic knowledge goes a long ways-to success..once ya git the basics down pat,you can start thinking about more of the complicated stuff-like breeding for potency, yield and reliability.

Have a good one...Torog
