What I wonder is... do you really need so many megapixels?

You might be able to save some money by getting a trimmed down version that would suit your needs just as well. But then again you might want to print out huge poster-size cannabis pictures for your bedroom or something..

I'm finally getting myself a Canon S51S 8 megapixel camera for £369, dont know when though, the place that stocks them is near to where i work, so i might see if it's a real shop rather than just an internet shop.
