You will be able to see the flowers when they are about to open- they sort of flop over on their stems and open within hours of doing that.

The female can be pollinated any time, but there are a couple things to remember:
-Allow at least 3 weeks to harvest for seeds to ripen
-A very early pollination can help prevent over-seeding of your buds. If you pollinate during week 2 or 3 when there is pistil growth but not TOO much, you can then wash off the plant after a couple days and return her to the flower room. The seeds will be at the base of the buds, and easy to find.
