My bad, but he has fought other martial artists, K-1 for example. But he stated that he want's to get back into fighting. That's the thing, he does have something to achieve. As I stated he wants to get back into fighting, beating Kimbo (if he can) will show that he hasn't quite lost his touch yet. Not only that, you state "Mercer gains nothing from this fight other then money", well I'm not being funny but if any of these fighters did this soley for the passion of fighting or reputation they wouldn't be earning of it. Ray Mercer has to make a living like everyone else mate. Weither you agree with it or not, it's entertainment and Ray has every right to fight if he pleases.
