Fights like this take the sport of MMA back, gives it a bad look. MMA doesn't need this especially after the news of Royce Gracie taking steroids for his last fight.
Ray Mercer wants to take part, and from what he said in an interview want's to start MMA fighting again. Ray Mercer went out after one kick from Remy, but then again his ear drum did burst. I've seen Mercer take bigger kicks and stand, I think it's safe to say he honestly thought something was up after that one kick. I do agree on the fact that Mercer is getting on now and Kimbo is a lot more youthful. However Kimbo isn't the best of fighters, and I don't think it will take long for him to get well and truly flattened by a Pro MMA fighter. Unless of course his training really is going as well as he said it is. Lets not forget Ray Mercer was Olympic Heavy Weight Champion, and Kimbo doesn't really do much else apart from Fist Fight on the streets anyway. So technically they should be even on those grounds. I think there is a good chance Ray Mercer will lose if he has not been training hard, but if he has I think Kimbo could be in for a ride.
