    curling leaves

I have 2 plants growing in soil under CFL's

some of the older leaves on the outside edges are starting to fold under and the tips are folding down to where they look like talons does anyone know what could be causing this?

    No it isn't N deficiency.
It could be a couple things but you have no pics so hard to pin down.
A micronute def can give you those talons but there are other things to check too.
-Potbound plants cup over like you are describing
-Nitrogen OVERDOSE in some cases can contribute to that.
FYI N deficiency is easy to spot as very pale and yellowing lower leaves.

well see thats why i thought it was a N def. cuz my lower leafs are yellowing a bit so i thought the curling leafs where part of it......mine is in a 5 gallon bucket and its nlt about 18inches tall so its not potbound....im using all pro blend what can i do if its a "micro nute" def? what is that exactly?

I think your correct its nitrogen def, bottom leaves yellow and curling under , thats classic overwatering symptoms

cut back on your watering schedule and amounts

four2zero does not have N def but iblodro does
micronutrients are things like Calcium, Magnesium, Iron, Manganese, etc and the plant needs these too... when they are locked out by bad pH conditions, or simply not present, the plant will tell you!!!

Don't forget that to much K can cause problems that appear like deficiencies.

stinkyattic i'll try to get you some pics on here but i really dont think its a problem with the the nitrogen...i have no yellowing leaves

like you said it might be potbound but my last grow i had smaller pots then what i have now so i dono if that would be the case

Someone else said it might be due to overwatering and thats the only thing I could see that might be a problem
