Should cannabis.com members be anti medical marijuana and anti-hemp?
In my opinion, which this apparently doesn't mean jack however...it's not a matter of opinion, it's purely a matter of fact and fiction.
Fiction: "Marijuana has absolutely no medical value whatsoever"
Fact: "Marijuana has been proven scientifically and anecdotally to have medical benefit"
Fact is, marijuana DOES have benefit and on a cannabis website I just don't think it fits right regardless of right to opinion.
You can think that all you want, but you shouldn't go around lying to people on these boards...

for every study you may quote proving your point, there is someone on the other side of the argument with a study to back up their views. as with most things, it's a matter of who you choose to believe and what works best for you.

I think the best thing we can all do, as individuals, is demand source-links to back up such arguments beforing alloting it any credibility.

if you looked hard enough you could probably find a source that proved hitler invented the internet and mussolini developed a cure for cancer. there are no universal truths available to us lowly mortals. the only sure means of finding truth is through personal experience. all else is based on faith in the reliability of others and i have very little of that sort of faith.

The University of Victoria has an incredible international database on all sorts of science info strait from the researcher's mouth. The University of Massachusettes (I think that's the one) does plenty of research in biology themselves, and the University of Saskatchewan has a remarkable neurological studies department. Anybody who's familiar with proper science will never be impressed by a claim that starts with "studies show", but by a presentation of data and the methodology behind the study which can be openly debated in regard to any fallable interpretation.\"I think your love of the halfling\'s pipeweed has slowed your mind\"

For every point there is a viable counterpoint,,,you just have to be somewhat intelligent and controversial...

And DelusionsOfNormality, you still made a very good point. We have to be careful of the internet and really understand what sources to trust. Trust, of course, should only go so far; you have to interpret the info yourself.\"I think your love of the halfling\'s pipeweed has slowed your mind\"
