what is your opinion on marijuana addiction? i beleive it is addictive but mostly only physcillogicly(thats spelt wrong), i think its not so much u need it but you want it,and are very used to how things appear or how u take things when high, the few times ive had to stop i experienced many symptoms like insomnia, huge loss of appetite, and some other things. wat do u think?

I've smoked cigarettes for 7 years, and I quit. Marijuana is the farthest thing from addictive I've ever seen...sure I want to smoke it, but that's just because it makes me feel good, not that I HAVE to smoke it...I had a harder time stopping drinking soda pop than I ever have the many many times I've broken regular pot use. Just like that, no withdrawal, no psychological problems or appetite problems...damn I love pot.

cannabis "addiction" is so mundane. Cigarettes, coffee and soda, now there are some reall addictive substances.

I would say that anyone can stop whenever they want to. But, then I'll hear someone say, "Well, I knew..."

Chocolate can be psychologically addictive but surely isn't physically addictive.

I'm with Markass 100% on this one. I agree with the soda and everything. I've had breaks in my smoking. No money, no weed. XD. Never felt addicted.

Not physically addictive, but psychological addictions are the worst kind. Psychology can take over your physiology in ways we still don't understand.

It's not physically addictive. It's habbit forming, but it's not something you NEED, not like heroin, or cigs. Cannabis isnt something that you cant stop. Simple dont buy any, dont get stoned and your there. You probably arnt even getting half the symtoms you think you are. If you've been smoking awhile your going to be used to eating lots of food, so you'll think your eating less, insomnia - that's probably just how you would naturally stay up, but you smoke yourself to sleep. Cannabis just isnt physically addictive.

I depend on cannabis for my health.
Dependence is completely different from Addiction.
