Imagine going to a low gravity environment and bouncing around happily, then all of a sudden you are placed in an increased gravity environment. Daily tasks will surely become a chore if one is used to being as light as a feather then suddenly laden with an extra few kilos.

Similarly, at a stretch, a flimsy plant will not cope with the increase weight when beautiful flowers begin to form. This can limit the overall yield. Therefore, if we compare wind to physical exercise, it becomes necessary to train a plants' structure to be able to cope when extra strength is demanded. Wind = Exersice = Better development & growth?

Does that make sense?

Fans and fresh air are as important as all other elements required to grow decent bud imho, happy harvesting!!!
home.grower Reviewed by home.grower on . fans.. are they necessary?? Are fans necessary, I'm sure you need them to help keep the temps right or air circulating in a box, but do they really help grow thicker stalks. Temps and humidity aren't a problem for me. I have a fan just not using it. we are in our second week:thumbsup: Rating: 5
