fans.. are they necessary??
Are fans necessary, I'm sure you need them to help keep the temps right or air circulating in a box, but do they really help grow thicker stalks. Temps and humidity aren't a problem for me. I have a fan just not using it. we are in our second week:thumbsup:

Resistance applied on the stalk, just like your muscles, with strengthen it.

yes fans are necessary. you still need to exchange air even if your temps and humidity are okay. would you like to sit in a box full of stale air for 4 months? lol neither would your plants!

fans.. are they necessary??
I would recommend it after what I've had to watch happen with my plants. I keep mine outdoors and its been very calm wind wise the frist month of growth. The more aggressive growing ladies have had issues falling over. Thankfully all have righted themselves and seem to be stronger for it now. But had there been more of a breeze during the days this last month I doubt it would of ever been an issue.

fans.. are they necessary??
Imagine going to a low gravity environment and bouncing around happily, then all of a sudden you are placed in an increased gravity environment. Daily tasks will surely become a chore if one is used to being as light as a feather then suddenly laden with an extra few kilos.
Similarly, at a stretch, a flimsy plant will not cope with the increase weight when beautiful flowers begin to form. This can limit the overall yield. Therefore, if we compare wind to physical exercise, it becomes necessary to train a plants' structure to be able to cope when extra strength is demanded. Wind = Exersice = Better development & growth?
Does that make sense?
Fans and fresh air are as important as all other elements required to grow decent bud imho, happy harvesting!!!
