Exactly. Sure, there are some that abuse their power, but for the most part, without then, people could walk into your home and slash your entire families throats open without penalty. Yeah, damn those assholes! Stop helping us.

The way I see it is, a cop doesn't go up to random people to harrass them. Maybe you should think why the cops know you so well, because you must have done something in the past for them to watch you so close.

Cops bother people for a reason, most of the time, so why do you think they know you so well and keeping bothering you? Answer that, and there will be a solution.

All cops aren't bad, and people quickly blame the police for their own stupid actions.

That "fuck em" attitude can go both ways.
I'm sure some of them see us with our droopy eyes and say "Fuck those stoners, they're all the same. Let's arrest them ALL."
And they are completely wrong. We are not all the same. Some of us are fucking stupid to the bone. And some of us are mature and productive.

Some of them are assholes. Some of them give you the same amount of respect you give them.

It's all about how you carry yourself. If you have Hood Rat Stoner written on your forehead...don't get mad if people treat you like one.

Now if your path crosses a police officers, for whatever reason, and you act like every other "normal" citizen....he'll treat you like one.

Don't forget that in the laws eye, we are all doing something illegal. And it's their job to enforce the law.

People are acting like there arent dirty cops out there. Me and my friends get pulled over all the fucking time for looking suspcious. Fuck outta here we get oulled over cause were black, and you can take it to the bank.

I know a cop. A vice detective, really. He is related to me by marriage.

I know another cop, a head of state vice.

Both have made it clear - they don't care about weed so much. But if they see it, or know about it, they have to do something about it. It's their job.

The long and short of the story is like many others have said before - don't give them a reason to fuck with you and they won't. It is a job, like any other. It's easy to say "fuck the police" but the truth of the matter is that they provide a vital function in society. Don't be a dumb ass - respect their authority, be legit (other than smoking bud) and they are cool. BUT - if you show attitude, flaunt it in their faces, then you get what's coming to you.

I will say that some are dicks who probably got beaten in high school and are now looking for payback. Suck it up and take it. Jail sucks, being in the system sucks. Don't risk it. They will make your life hell and get those otherwise cool cops after your ass as well. It is a brotherhood. They will shake you down for the hell of it - because you show disrespect to their job. Like it or not, the average cop sees things black or white when it comes to the law.

My friends and I were all smashed last night and our driver was too. A cop pulled us over and said hell just drive home ill follow you and if you make it okay your good. Our driver friend instantly started bitching about the cop that saved our asses from the drunk tank and court. Growup mr. hardcore
