Tax Stamps?!?!

Alright, this is extremely confusing. According to Massachusetts state laws, a tax stamp is required for the bud you own, otherwise you could get a fine/imprisonment. I'm not about to go to town hall and ask for a tax stamp for my weed. How can a state require you to pay a tax on something that's illegal to buy/sell/possess? Sounds to me like they're conning the lesser intelligent into confessing some shit to their town clerk.

Its just the greedy ass government trying to get any penny they can out of people when they get busted. They know that noone would go in and get those stamps. So then they can just add another fine to you when you get busted carrying a baggy without a stamp. And people wonder why it isnt legal...its cause there making money off of it anyways.

yes, there is. i don't know which one it is, but the kicker is that you have to bring the weed to get a stamp. but, if you don't have the stamp, bringing your weed is illegal.

therefore, you're arrested for trying to follow the law, it's a loophole thing.

that's completely wrong. You can avoid being slapped with certain fines/fees if you have paid the tax for the amount of marijuana you're possessing...you don't know as much that you think, pal...

Ending a sentence with "pal" and an insult ... clearly, you're a bit of an asshole. On top of that, you're wrong!

Tommy guns and Marijuana both had a tax issued on them because due to the laws of the time, they were unable to make them outright illegal. Instead, possession without having paid the tax fee is illegal, and also, you need to have the object in question in your possession in order to obtain the tax stamp. It's a very well known catch-22, and it doesn't matter anymore anyway, considering it was a federal tax, and federally, marijuana is 100% illegal for all - Still. Even if it's legal in your state for medical use and you have a recommendation - there's a reason the doc can't prescribe it in the literal sense, it isn't legal.

Do whatever you want, and think whatever you want, but there is no way to avoid fines or jail time if you combine weed and feds.
