Orangeman, you've got palmar hyperhidrosis. Do a Google on that term or on "sweaty palms" and read what you see. Happens to a more people than you'd realize. I have a friend whose husband is a prominent businessman, and he had such trouble with sweaty hands, which presented trouble everytime he had to shake hands, that he had a procedure in which he had the sympathetic nerve chain that supplies his upper body surgically transected.

For most people, thoracic sympathectomy surgery isn't necessary. Antiperspirants and powders help some people with mild sweating. I know some doctors have had success with certain medicines and with Botox injections to ease the problem, too. Therre are doctors who treat the problem with application of a low-level electrical current, as well, which seems to help. But of course for those treatments other than antiperspirants or powders, you'd first have to be seen by a doctor.
