Right now I have 7 plants and only 1 is female from what I can tell. I hope soon that I can find out what the others are. how long does it normally take for a plant to grow bud to its full size?

i wish you the best on the other plants.

it usually takes about 2 months to fully flower, but depending on the strain it can be as little as 6 weeks or as much as 3 months. the best way to tell is by looking at the tricombs with a magnifing glass.

How far are you into flowering? I swear I don't think you only have one female. I hate when I read about people planting a lot of seeds and only get like 1-2 females. I'm pretty sure you have more than that..I hope.

males usually show first, so there is a good chance that at least a few of your others will be girls. good luck.
