Belgium helped a lot in stopping WWI
Farmers opened the drains and flooded the battlefields surrounding Ypres, so drowning the Germans.
    Just couldn't let this unsaid
Btw, a world war is called that way for a reason.

I don't remember who it was that said it, but stopping the Cold War isn't really a pro-America point, I mean, they started that shit, they sure didn't stop it on their own, out of own initiative.

And on a personal note, I prefer GB, it's closer to home, and their culture (humor, literature) is more fascinating to me than America's.
You don't have to have my opinion.

Better watch your lip about LIP, he's got friends over here you know.
W is an asshole, and he's OUR asshole. We are responsible for letting him do what he did. Most of the world hates us now because we let him get away with it.
We are weak little girly men.

president is executive chief of staff or something like that..we arent responsible for letting him do anything, because he would have done it anyways..he did do it anyways. presidents have the authority to override anything they want. we cant stop em.

Something else i was wondering about, was the American army. A page or two back i was being told how big they are, and how highly trained they are. Now, i KNOW you've got a big army, but if your so big and highly trained, why beg England to come along with you? I just wouldnt have thought you'd need us.
Hmmm yes I'd believe that your special forces may be more trained than ours. Your country is much smaller, and can't rely on sheer numbers. So more money and resources can be focused on their training. The problem with America is that we own too much land, too spred out, too many people. So we must accomodate time and efficiency (to an extent) for numbers. Though don't be silly... you know we didn't beg you guys to come along, our greedy governments had some deal worked out because you guys want some of the pie too

Don't you realize that decades of diplomacy and economic pressure from a large portion of the world had nothing to do with stopping the cold war?
The cold war ended when Ronald Reagan said "Tear down that wall". [/snarcasm]

    America? Culture?
...We have frozen yogurt, does that count?
We have seen pictures of culture, but we barely have civilization in some areas. The best we can claim is a few traditions and establishments.
Give us a couple more centuries.
    American Culture...
