Voting is not enough. We have to hold them accountable for what they do.

voting is the main thing that we can do. like i said presidents have the authority to basically do what they want. i dont see how we dont hold them accountable for their actions. if you look at the polls, youll see that after the invasion of iraq the presidents popularity or whatever they call it dropped at an exceedingly profound rate. who knows why he was reelected. i sure as hell dont..i might have a few ideas but nothing set in stone to where i can surely give a reason why. and i dont think anyone can give a set 'for sure' reason why because america is a fat lazy country. those who care do all they can to make a difference, but sadly the majority of the country are too apathetic to do anything. it isnt our fault as a whole because everything is split. no one will ever see eye to eye.

Call your senators and congresspeople. Make an appointment, and go talk to them or one of their aides. If you don't, you're not doing your part.

ive written my congressman enough times to where i can say that ive honestly done my fair share of the populations dirty work for them.

it doesnt matter. if something is to be done, it needs to be done collectively. and everything is so split that it will never happen.

thats america, land of the free where freedom of choice means coke or pepsi.

bottom line, no ones going to help you if you cant even help yourself. and if you dont need help, you dont get it. ever hear the term "the squeaky wheel gets the grease"?
American college costs are astrinomical. Are you suggesting more people get a free education then not?

    Letters go in a file.
You have to actually meet with them.

no you are misconstruing what i am saying. im saying that those who work for what they need get what they need. it is there for the taking, you just need to put forth the effort.

and those who make enough to where they dont need free money dont get it. it works. youre either too rich and dont deserve it or youre too lazy to shoot for it.

come to america and apply for the bogw, the fafsa, and apply for grants, and then debate it.

those who work and go to school full time can only do so much. im not superman nor can i defy the laws of the space time continuum, so i cant work, go to school, and meet with my congressman. my schedule is too packed.

have you gone and met with yours yet? i dont know why im asking because youll probably just say yes and no one will ever know if that statement is actually true or if youre just trying to make a name for yourself.

You make it sound so simple, yet it isn't...
