I keep looking and looking and looking at the possibility of growing under LED light, but as of yet I am just seeing pictures of weak veging plants and of yet I have not seen one picture of a good healthy bud on the net.
Let face it if I google kangaroo with bad acne I will find a picture somewhere.
Im not saying you cant grow great bud under led, I hope you can, maybe the growers ive seen so far trying just are not good growers. So please somebody point me in the right direction of the evidence as im a very strong believer in the old saying WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET.
    Im waiting

    Heh there

Yep, green is used so you can work in your grow room at night time without fear of disrupting the photoperiod of the plant, they may possibly absorb some, but its not necessary. What is needed though is more UV and white light, either maybe think of adding white to your setup or add a CFL? I know as i am growing that the addiction of white massively helped the flowering stage.

i know LEDS can grow green its just the quality and yeiled alongside traditional methods that is up for question? I think i refer back to somebodys comment about a kangaroo with acne and laugh and agree. I really do believe not enough good gardeners are using LED and too many people believing the hype that one 90watt ufo will beat a 400watt hps. Yeah on one plant maybe! I have lots and lots of these units now, all 1W diodies and they have been a revelation, but you still need a lot of them!

lol he had 6 x 600W HPS and strip fluros in there with the LED panels... doubt a CFL or two would have made any difference.
