Facial Redness, Dryness, Rosacea and marijuana

Hey there,
I believe I have a little bit of rosacea but anyways.. anyone else here have rosacea that smokes marijuana? There was a period of alot of use but my face got really red and dry.. and seemed to make my rosacea worse. I

Does this happen to anyone else or anyone know anything about this?

I've had a little red dot, on the middle of the bridge of my nose, for a long time.

I dont have Rosacea, and I dont really think that herb really irritates my acne or anything.

Maybe you got to have rosacea to know..

My skin just seems to get really dry.. plus the cotton mouth and all.

Any way you guys know to prevent this (dryness)?

Moisturizing lotion and drinking plenty of water will help dryness. Also make sure you're not over-washing your face and make sure you're getting fish oils and omega 3 and 6 fatty acids in your diet.

Smoking of any kind can make rosacea worse. Cannabis in particular dilates peripheral blood vessels, which can worsen flushing, aggravating the red, splotchy/rashy effect and can make the little visible blood vessels on your skin more apparent. The peripheral vessel dilation is the same reason you get bloodshot eyes when you smoke it, too.

Dry eyes and lips can be caused by an imbalance in your fatty acid intake, I don't know if that is the same thing you are talking about though. Try eating some hemp bars or something.
