you can buy lamp parts in the electrical dept. cords, plugs,sockets, with some basic electrical wiring you can make your own pretty easily, its only three wires. google wiring a lamp or something. i have one of the same reflectors/clamp lamps that karma is talking about and they work well. i use 1 to start seedlings and clones. you would need a lot of them though if you were going to grow just under them though,they dont cover a very large area.

I don't have anything to wire lightbulbs into in my closet and from what I've gathered from every single employee of the local hardware store my only plug-in option is a desk lamp and I have the feeling no one is using desk lamps.
