windows media player visualizations

does anybody ever blaze and then just stare at the pretty colors of the Windows Media Player visualization thinger, the really psychedelic trippy colors and what not? my thing is set to battery>randomization, and i'm listening to the Derek and the Dominos album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs right now, very pretty album, and man this is sweet.

i'll need to try it again the next time i scrounge up some bud.

About 5 or so years back I was reading some Hacker zeen(sp?) and there was this article named something like "ghetto 3d" and it explained how to use some visual effects thing in winamp (older winamp versions, not sure if this applies still) that ya could plug in x,y,z coordinates or something to program the visual effect. Anyway the moral of the story is ya could wear those cheap little 3d movie glasses and get 3d crap popping off your screen. I think maybe it gives ya a headache if ya watch too long or something though.. :jointsmile:

Jdub, follow these steps.

1.Smoke 3 bowls
2.Download Itunes if you don't already have it
3.Download a CD by Shpongle
4.Watch the Itunes visualizer

It's extremely trippy and so much better than the windows and I swear to god when you're really high, it's like there's a story happening. Hard to explain, but check it out.
